H.K. College of Pharmacy - An Overview

Humera Khan College of Pharmacy was established in 2006 and is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E), New Delhi, Govt. of India and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. Building on its tradition of excellence, the College offers a well developed and modern program in Pharmacy.

The drugs & pharma industry is a multibillion-dollar business. In the rapidly changing global scenario and the implementation of GATT & TRIPS in India, now in a matter of only a couple of years, the pharmaceutical industry and professionals will play a vital role in shaping up our national economy.

This new decade is thus, bound to have an ever growing demand of pharmacy professionals not only in the country, but even worldwide. Anticipating this demand, the visionary president of 'Maharashtra Educational Society', Prof. Javed Khan put the wheels in motion that brought about the existence of H.K.C.P.

As a private, independent, co-educational institution, H.K.C.P. offers to its students a unique opportunity to integrate theoretical and applied knowledge in the health professions, so that graduates become enlightened thinkers as well as competent practitioners.
