RX - The Event

Rx is an annual fest which kicks off every December/January. All the pharma colleges in Mumbai participate in this inter college fest. Rx 2009 commenced on 24th January. It offers a great platform and potpourri of competitions for students, from dancing to salad decoration and from personality contests to skits. Rx gives an opportunity to interact with pharmacy students from different colleges all over Mumbai. Along with different competition there are also different workshops and seminars organized in Rx where students can explore different arenas.

H.K College of pharmacy has been participating in this fest since past 2 years and we have made our presence felt in a big way this year. We have bagged prizes in 2 events and have given fierce competition to the other colleges in the rest of the events.

WORD FROM THE WINNERS

Nayan, runner up for tattoo painting says “I feel absolutely elated. I want to thank the management and faculty for giving me the opportunity and their immense support. Lastly I want to thank Adam merchant for being patient and motionless.”

The runner ups for T-shirt painting pravin and bhushan say “Winning at Rx has given us lot of confidence. Apart from painting we also worked on the theme. We feel proud to be appreciated for something that has also helped create awareness regarding cigarette smoking.”
