Admission to this one year degree course (Bachelor of Education) requires a bachelors degree from any stream. Preferences are given to students who have studied school subjects (viz. Maths / Science / Languages / History / Geography etc.) as part of their graduate studies. Minimum eligibility requirements for this course is 45% at the graduation level. In case, a candidate wishing to pursue a B.Ed. degree does not fulfill this requirement, it is mandatory for the person to have a minimum 3 years teaching experience from a school. The teaching experience certificate has to be counter-signed by the school's district's inspector. Admission also mandatorily requires prospective students to appear for the Common Entrance Test (C.E.T.)
